The Paper Bag Game

(Stockton, CA)

Object of the game: Be the first one to take the bag off of your head.(Do not tell your guests this.)
What you will need: A brown paper bag for each guest.

When you start to play this game ask your guests to place the bag on their head and take off everything that they don't need; the person to take the bag off of their head first wins the game. This game is so fun, it's hilarious they will be taking of their shoes, socks, jackets, jewelry, watches etc. It's a great game to record so have a video camera around!

I played this game at a church babyshower. I had people taking off shoes, jackets , wedding bands and more . I even had one granny taking of stocking.
It was hilarious!!!!!!

I can't imagine this game working out often. Wouldn't someone people feel embarrassed and not take off anything? Wouldn't everyone want to know how to win? If there is no win condition, why take off more than a pair of socks? If so, how would that be entertaining?

Nice one. This is a great idea! You can announce it as "Bare Necessities" - the operative word being "bare" - making folks think they should strip down to skimmies in order to accumulate the highest number of unnecessary items they are wearing. You could instruct them to place all their items on their chair for judges to count them. It could also be pointed out that new mommies only have time for the bare necessities. I love it!

I don't understand this game. You have your guest put a brown bag on top of their head? As in it sits atop their head? Then you tell them to take off anything they don't need, so as in to strip down to nothing? Really though you mean the brown bag?

I just played this game the other day and I must admit I thought it was going to be laim. It was alot of fun and much harder than I thought. This would be great with kids and adults. I'll tell you a tip and don't wear your jeans or shoes. You can do better if you take this advice.
