This cake is a 9inch round that is sliced through the middle and filled with buttercream. I used wilton's dye's to color the icing for his hat and such. The trick to getting the icing so smooth is to take your offset spatula and run it under hot water. The heat from the spatula smooths the icing and the water keeps it from sticking to the icing.
